Browser data
There are no visitor accounts or public comments. The book chooser processes your selection in your browser. The casebook saves an optional note and reading preference in this browser’s local storage; these entries are not sent to us. My reading journey saves completion ticks locally and has a “Clear my checklist” control. You can also remove this site’s browser data in your browser settings.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3WW0Q0C1HH) loads only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Google uses cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which can last up to two years. Rejecting analytics leaves its tag unloaded. You can change your choice using “Analytics settings” on this page; withdrawing consent reloads the page and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Your choice is stored locally in your browser.
Hosting cookies
Our hosting provider also sets a cookie called __Host-appgarden-visitor, used to deliver the site. Cloudflare sets __cf_bm, observed for about 30 minutes, for bot management. Hosting services process connection information to deliver and protect the site.
External services
Google Fonts may receive ordinary connection information when fonts load. The river map loads Leaflet from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap; those services receive connection information, including your IP address. The map does not request your location. When you follow a retailer or reference link, you visit that organisation’s site; retailer sites set their own cookies and apply their own privacy policies.
